The touchfoil™ with multi-touch functionality is available in sizes from 30 to 80 inches and detects two independent touches. Please note there is a specific multi-touch driver for this product (MT2).

A multi-touch touchfoil™ is required in order to use the multi-touch driver. Existing single touch touchfoils are not compatible with the multi-touch driver. The multi-touch touchfoil™ is backwards compatible with single-touch controllers using Driver 0 in MA7, WMA8 or MA9.
Tail and controller board
The visualplanet touchfoil can be manufactured with the tail and controller board positioned either along the long edge or the side edge of the touch active area.
The strip leading up to the electronic controller board from the active area is known as the tail. The tail has a minimum length of 25 mm, but visualplanet can manufacture the touchfoil with tail lengths that can meet your installation requirements. The main benefit of this is the ability to conceal the electronic control board so that it is totally hidden from the user’s view.
