Visualplanet manufacture the touchfoil, a large format, clear film touch sensor that can turn any non-metallic surface into a tablet-style touch screen. Visualplanet produced the world’s first large format through window touch solution based on the innovative idea of its founder. The idea – to create an interactive display on an estate agents window to provide 24/7 access for passers-by to the database of available homes, therefore maximising the potential of the bricks and mortar store.
The touchfoil can be laminated onto the inside of a shop window with a screen displaying content placed behind, users on the street can then access the content through the glass, from outside of the store, even when wearing gloves. The touchfoil simply rolls up into a tube and can easily shipped around the world. Visualplanet’s partners, located in over 85 different countries integrate the touchfoil into a wide range of innovative solutions to add touch capabilities
